Key skills: Creative director. Art director. Concept art. Producer. Troubleshooter. Pitching/Presenting. Brainstorming.
Jason has worked extensively at Sony Computer Entertainment dividing his time between managerial production roles and lead creative roles.
Creative director: For several years, Jason managed the Sony Cambridge research group, tasked with investigating new technology and emerging audiences. Several games emerged from this group, one of them being the social party game TV Superstars as well as several other prototyped unreleased experimental titles including a complex life simulator game. Jason handled studio direction duties on these games.
Art Director/Concept art: Jason art directed several Sony Playstation games, creating the entirety of the concept art for every environment, character, creature and prop, as well as mood boards for lighting and effects work (most notably the horror/sci-fi game Ghosthunter.) Jason would use a mix of traditional drawing methods and building concept models in Maya as part of his process.
Production trouble shooter: Jason was responsible for risk assessing and finding production solutions on several troubled games to ensure final milestones and release were accomplished. The biggest of these games was having to step in to produce/firefight the art department on the Sony/Fox TV produced 24: The Game.
Please refer to my resume section for a more detailed breakdown of Jason's experiences and skills on these titles.
