Jason Wilson has worked extensively in creative lead positions in the video-game industry for over two decades; a game designer, concept artist, art director and creative director. Directing and managing teams (of up to 90+ people at their peak) for Sony Computer Entertainment through all stages of game development, from pre-production to release.
Jason's passion is for the form and function of visual design for use in visual narratives. His belief is that art, stories and design do not stand apart but that they should form a cohesive whole.
Jason has worked on a succession of hit titles for Sony, Namco and Sega. He is most known for co-creating the successful and beloved BAFTA winning fantasy video-game series MediEvil for Sony Playstation, which he returned to in 2019.
Jason is also a published author and illustrator of original graphic novels under his nom de plume - Jay Gunn. Jason has been published internationally by Titan Books, his original fiction work has received critical acclaim for its diverse story telling, visual world building and the tackling of contemporary social issues and environmental concerns.
